If you are stuck in a rut of not exercising, try something new.  Many find the idea of a journal helpful for challenging them to excel.  Start a fitness log and list everything you do.  Each day challenge yourself to a new activity and list how long you did the exercise.  Walking farther, lifting weights, or doing an exercise circuit all give you excellent benefit.  It is your workout, so make it your own.  Have confidence that you will be healthier and happier with all your efforts.  By keeping a journal you will have pride in each days accomplishments.  Add stretching as part of your exercise to release the lactic acid build up.  If lactic acid is released by stretching, you will never be sore from your workout.  How great is that?

When you have confidence and high self-esteem, you naturally believe that you deserve to look and feel better. To gain this self-confidence, congratulate yourself for small achievements, and believe in your ability to eventually achieve your long-term goal of permanent weight loss with a strong, healthy body.

An article in the Wall Street Journal “The Case Against Vitamins” fascinated me that said recent studies show that many vitamins not only don't help, they may actually cause harm.
