If you are stuck in a rut of not exercising, try something new. Many find the idea of a journal helpful for challenging them to excel. Start a fitness log and list everything you do. Each day challenge yourself to a new activity and list how long you did the exercise. Walking farther, lifting weights, or doing an exercise circuit all give you excellent benefit. It is your workout, so make it your own. Have confidence that you will be healthier and happier with all your efforts. By keeping a journal you will have pride in each days accomplishments. Add stretching as part of your exercise to release the lactic acid build up. If lactic acid is released by stretching, you will never be sore from your workout. How great is that?
